Ben, piss on Corona. Dos Equis Amber or Tecate' with Cuervo 1800 as a primer. Don Ranulfo tequila and Sauza are good as well. I also enjoy Negra Modelo for Mexican beers. All of those are FAR better than Corona.

CZ hit it dead-nuts-on when mentioned Samuel Smith's. Anything from Sammy is top shelf.

Guinness is my all-time favorite. It is indeed mother's milk to a grown man with hair on his chest. Those w/o hair need not apply. Same goes for shooting .340 Weatherbys.

Domestic, mass-produced beer is basically all rat piss. It sucks, so anyone trying beer for the first or second time don't base your opinion of beer on that garbage. The good thing is that once you're past the third one, you really don't taste it anymore and you can go on your merry, drunk, partying ways. It takes about six for me before I stop tasting it.

There are more good beers out there than I have space and time to post. One of the coolest, most fun things you can do is to experiment, buy singles and decide what suits your taste the best. In college, my roommates and I collected 324 DIFFERENT bottles of beer over the course of two years and displayed them on shelves in our living room. One bottle could represent many, many cases of that beer. We had furniture built of empty beer cases. One of my roommates built his bedframe of beer cases.

I have a little experience with beer apparently. But, please, have fun with your experimentation and above all, BE SAFE. Don't drive after having fun with new and different beers. Nothing ruins a good time like death.

Party on! :ylsuper

Domestic Beer - Michelob Light or Coors Light

Cheap Beer - Natty Light and has anyone ever had Fat Cat? (ugh) but can't beat 4 bucks for a 12-pack.

Quality Beer - Guinness in the words of the Family Guy "tastes like happy", also Fat Tire and Boulevard Wheat are amazing.

Liquor - Rum or Vodka. Not too picky but won't touch Viaka ever again. Captain and Coke gets you through anything :)

Crown Royal and coke is also very nice.

Nick :)

well, being mexican I'll have to say that corona or XX is pretty good stuff. For a darker beer though, I like Karl Strauss Amber Lager, or Newcastle Brown Ale (sp?).

Lets see...For cheap beer I like Bud Light, but I gotta go with the Miller light because it has half the calories. If ya do a lot of drinking this adds up to a beer belly. For good beer I drink New Castle Ale. Good stuff. Too bad a lot of bars don't have it. Sounds like a lot of you peeps like Corona, if so you should try Modelo. I used to like the jamaican beer Red Stripe, but for some reason it taste like bloody lip to me now.

...and who started talking about hard liquor and shots?? But since we're already talking about it I'll line up my shots like this.Lemon Drops - PrimerJagermeister or Goldshlager - drink till things are fuzzyBacardi 'O' - straight from the bottle and straight to the floor.

Its actually not Chinese or Japanese....it may be only available locally, since the brewery is in PA. Its actually not a cheap beer, but its just this one place that sells them cheap.

Ben, please don't get Corona, it's overpriced sh**** beer. Get some Rolling Rock, or something good.

Clearly none of you guys live in the northwest......where we know that light beer is for little girls and pets. Sheesh you made me grab a Birdgeport Old Nuckle Head(barleywine 11.2%) just to wash the thought of the taste outta my mouth. The one exception is PBR which still tastes like piss, but is proven to flow faster down a beer bong than anything else.

Best decently priced: $9.85 12's of Black Butte Porter when WinCo has a saleBest costly: Blackhook stoutBest stupidly expensive: Rasputin Imperial or Arrogant Bastard ale. Most satisfying: What ever you just finished brewing.

Beer in portland in a religion, with more places to worship per capita than any other city in the country. :beerchug

Btw if your ever in portland find the Yamhill pub in downtown and order a receding mohawk. It's a punk bar so you may have to avoid a brawl or two but DAMN one will get me ****ed up and more will destroy you. I personally saw a guy that had to be 300 pounds come in all c()cky and after three he was pukeing his guts out on the max line. :puke

Malt Liquor baby....you can't beat a 40 of Olde English or Colt 45. Under 2 bucks and 8% alcohol.

Sorry, that's the ghetto in me comin out, but you really can't beat it on value and I don't have a problem drinking it at all.

I'll drink pretty much anything besides Miller Light....that crap tastes like pondscum.
