Not listed but I vote for the Blitz Dual SBC Type S for an under-$350 boost controller. Way better than Greddy Profec B IMO - easier to setup, easier to switch between boost levels. I have this one in my personal car. It was rated better than most others by SCC for controlling boost spikes and overboost.

I vote for Greddy Profec E01 or HKS EVC V in the more than $500 category. I haven't used either of these but they sure look excellent and are packed with features.

Trust "Big blue knob", the old-school manual with the 2" handle.

they have been out of production since the eighties. As far as elctronic types go I love the AVC-D. I would reccomend it highly.

My friend has a Profec B on his 91. I wouldn't use any other EBC.

If you really want one I can usually find them in out of the way used parts shops. You feel like a real stud when you grab that two inch aluminum knob, shove it down and twist up the boost.

looks sweet, dunno much else about it. My buddy got one for his single turbo Supra just so he could run his Emanage with it, but hasn't really played much with it to get a reading if it's cool or not.

I have the E-01 And E manage combo on my Z. It is so far the best boost controller i have owned. (Apexi AVC-R Blitz SBC-iD) It does have a lot of features. Some of them I probably will never use. The menus are easier to scroll through than on any of the others iv'e owned. The main reason i bought it though was that i could hook the e manage up to it and not have a spereate fuel controller and boost controller. I can datalog all kinds of stuff and it has some pretty cool displays. Let me know if you have any other questions about it and i will try to answer them.

ThanksShawn

oh yeah and i was told this boost controller is really obvious and since it's high end that people will easily see it and steal it. What kind of car alarm do you recommend???!! LOL

no not exactly in my Z the dash is really curved so it's not on top of the dash. and not really in the center either. If some one can host a pic i can email it you so you can post it.
