This seems weird but i was wondering if anyone with a stock ka24de 5 speed in their s13 would tell me what MPH they are at when they're in 3k RPM in each gear. i'm asking because my speedo doesn't work right now, i may have forgotten to plug it in during the motor+transmission swap. so this is just for me to have an estimate on how fast im going on the freeway. a cop was behind me today and i totally didn't know how fast i was going. hopefully someone can help me out. thanks

i drive a 92 240sx convertible that just swapped in a ka24de+manual transmission+manual ecu.

The speed sensor is on the very top of transmission, if you pop your hood you shoudl be able to see if it's plugged in properly, or even feel if it's plugged in all the way. It will click when it's in.

its raining pretty hard right now and i just quickly look to see if its connected. i see it and it looks like a clean connection. i tugged it alittle just to do a quick check. MPH and ODO still doesn't work so i need to think of some other possibilities. when the motor was at my friends car, his cluster was working perfectly.

The brown connector just above the ecu is noted for coming loose and the wires breaking, it has done this on 2 out of 3 of mine and one of my friend's.
