Faulty Instrument Panel -> Bigger problems?

Hey

ABS light in my 03 Pathfinder is on, and ABS doesn't work (made a nice tire mark in the road) Sometimes its not on but will illuminate after some driving.

4wd warning light is inconsistently on, but when its not on 4wd seems to work fine.

Also, one of the lights under the 4wd shift indictor tires doesn't work. So in 2wd only 1 wheel is illuminated and in 4wd only 3 are (same light off).

Will read the codes over the weekend, but is it possible that I'm not getting power to one of the wheels? Or are the lights not that clever, more of a 2wd or 4wd drive thing and bulb is just out? I would think this would impact 4wd and ABS lights too, but not sure if this is the case!

Any insight would be appreciated!

I can only positively respond to the wheel LED light. It happened to me and none of those other warning lights were on.
Since my soldering skills aren't the greatest, I chose to buy another cluster from ebay and be done with it. It worked

Okays so ran Self Diagnostic for ABS and its throwing out codes 21, 31, 25 in that order which are Front Left, Rear Left, Front Right sensors.

Also ran 4WD diag and it was code 17 which is ABS operation signal circuit is shorted. Making me think these are related.

Im struggling to follow the diagnostic steps in the service manual, do I need to take the actuator out or apart? Or can it all be done under the hood?

Hello Lambda - I am having the same problem in my 2003 Pathfinder with the ABS light on not throwing any code and then the 4WD light coming on. Were you ever able to fix yours? Where did you find the steps to run a self diagnostic? Thanks in advance
