You join today, with no introduction and triple post across the forum (a violation of the ToS agreement btw) and beg for cash by sending readers to a link?

I've seen better game from panhandlers in a Walmart parking lot.

I've deleted the first two posts. How about suggestions for a good redirect URL?

I'm giving up on this taco game. I got to 300 and nothing is happening anymore. Lazy developer.

Work hard, save up, buy parts and build, the same way all of us do. Some people may help you on the mechanical questions and maybe donate some parts, but don't spec money, well at least not from me. If you have such a urge to learn new things get a job in a mechanic shop, you will learn lots of new things there.

Thanks Pento for an honest reply. I'm not trying to spam. I'm just trying to get the word out to people with the same interest as me. I work hard for my money and all money goes back into my family of 4. Money saved goes to them and their future. This is also not for my learning. I know how to do most of the work for this car, it is to teach my son everything I know and to have a bonding activity with him instead of handing him an iPod and say have at it. I'm intentions are good and sorry if it looks like I'm fishing for money.

My recommendation is to scale back. I know of a certain 6-figure household that decided not to have kids and has saved for years in hope of starting a project like that. A JDM GT-R engine in a light weight Z car is awesome... and expensive. I know it sucks sometimes not to have exactly what you want when you want it and having to make due (a valuable lesson to teach your kid). But, realistically, there is little that you can teach your kid from an exotic JDM motor that is more relevant than fixing up a scrapheap B13 SE-R, 240 SX (or whatever) for a track day car (or first car).

If you really want to get money for a show car or race car, break out the PowerPoint, put together a marketing proposal for sponsors and start pitching how a brand will benefit by having its logo plastered on the side of your car.
