Just received my 19 " Toyo Proxes T1R Fat tires---245/35 (front) and 275/35 (rear). The rear tires are unbeleivably fat--OMG. When i went to pick it up at the UPS center, some lady was a little perturbed at the fatness of the tire. She asked what type of tires they were. I said, they were high performance tires for a little car. I think she thought they were for an SUV. I really wonder if a 5mmm spacer is really needed anymore. I also bought a set of clear corners. Will be doing brakes together with tires, next week. The G-35 Coupe is a true money drainer. Can't wait to get done with the cost of mods and general maintenance so that I can breathe easy for a while. In July, I intend to inistall a non-underdrive unorthodox pulley set. I am still waiting to hear from anyone, if a grounding Kit is a good idea for a G-35 Coupe 6MT.

I have 275's on the back with a spacer and the tire fills out the fender completely...looks perfect in my opinion.

My 255s look almost the same as your 275s

I just want a new exhaust, a CAI, and maybe different rims because I'm not a fan of the 19s.

Then I'd be happy until I saw an HKS turbo setup...oh wait I already did!!!

LOL... I know that Mr. Joe... but I want to see more angles etc. Your one pic is very close up so it's hard to see the "wide look" By all means, take more pics for me then!!

And yes... they legalized Pot for "medicinal purposes"

And they decriminalized possession if it's under 1 ounce... it's just a fine now..

Pot is a civil infraction here in Ann Arbor, MI since 1972. Used to be a $5 fine, now its $25 first offense, $50 second offense. Medical use allowed since 2004.

Alaska has completely decriminalized it.

I have to admit, tires are like the last thing that I've tried to learn about. So that's all I could contribute to this thread.

Yeah, I am cracked up by this G-35 because it is amazing what you can do to it. Haven't had a car with tires as fat as 275s. So, you can see whi am behaving like a crack head! Can anyone claim to be normal in or around their G-35? Very unlikley! The car is a form of crack!

I got 245 on my sedan and I love the look. My next upgrade is shocks so if it all fits well, I will probably go 275 in the rear in the future.

Jacko3 are you using OEM rims or aftermarket?

Adren77:

I am using OEM rims. I will post a picture when it is installed. My setr up should look close to Joe603's set up since we have the same rims and car. I will be installing it this weekend, so I should pics by next week.

I wanna see this, too. I have some 19/20" Vellanos with 235/35 and 295/30 and I would really like to see if they would fit on my G. Have not checked to see if the bolt patterns even align but they are both 5 bolt so........

Sorry, I'm def a wheel noob so I haven't checked into any of this. Sounds like I may need a spacer from what I'm reading hear?
