most of us have heard of proejct igor and their monster which is hitting 10's on a stock block and headgasket, but what are other people hitting, i rarely see RB times on the forums, i practically got BPU on my rb25, but my power fc came in last night so i definately wanna put that on the track now and see my times. Is anyone else hitting 10s,11s, or 12s ?

They are at 10's now?......last time I checked their goal was a 10, but they only got a 11.1

not for very long, catastrophic numbers like that tend make an RB's life measurable in weeks.

ah i see. i don't see how HP numbers like that affect the motor that much though, as long as you're not redlining it constantly it shouldn't be a problem would it?

it takes big explosions of greater amounts of fuel to make more power. If you pump increasing amounts of pressure into a rigid container what eventually happens?

ah i see what you're saying. however, HP gets higher as the RPMs get higher, so if you kept your RPMs lower wouldn't your engine be fine?

It's called a 454 big block. small motors don't have the raw size it takes to make big power at leisurely RPMs that's the tradeoff.

If you are wanting fastest street car, it is most likely going to be a domestic...there is a street legal Monza here that is a 7sec car. If you are asking fastest street legal Nissan, I would have to say it is probably the Exvitermini's R33 that runs a 8.2 1/4th. Now if you are asking for the fastest Nissan steet legal car in america, I couldn't tell you.

Igor belongs to my buddy here local in Tallahassee. I am about to help him whip that car back into shape and ready for the track. Car had some ignition issues associated with the tuner and the Haltech. He will swap it with a FAST system and we will retune the thing. Its best pass at 17psi was 11.1@130. He is also swapping in a powerglide so he can launch the piss out of the car. Here are some pics. I rode in the car at 21psi and it was pretty damn fast. BTW, my own personal daily driver 240Z datsun ran (6.9@107/10.6@134) with a crappy 1.8 60ft. That was using an old school 280zxt motor.

it's not street legal anymore, the guy who owns is too scared to drive it. it's a dedicated drag car now, 3rd fastest 4WD car in the world i believe.

thanks for the intrest ... I now have my car back in my shop and it will be 3 or 4 weeks befor the new computer and trans are finished... I also put a tomi headgasket , head studs, new main and rod bearings, and fixed the oil pump issue. It should make a little over 600 whl this time.. I will repost the new dyno #'s and times it runs when I get back from the track... the car pissed me off a few mounths ago so I shiped it away and forgot about it for a while. now I'll get back to work on it... And in the 11.1 pas I missed third gear.

Wow... thats easily over 600whp on a dynojet. Just curious, was the 2700 weight exact on the dyno? Don't mustang dyno's use load figures (like weight)?

so far about 18 mounths and around $15000.00 in parts . this mounth alone it will eat up another 3 grand on the new computer system and 2grand on the new auto trans speed = money and I think it is still to slow. I want to skip the 10's and go straight to the 9's
