Fastest S13 KA-T

Saw this post on ka-t.org and thought i would post it here as well. Fastest run this car has made so far is 9.04@?mph. No one seems to know much about the car. The pic of his engine bay is a couple years old. Here are some pics. In one of them he did a [email protected]

Too bad the car is ugly as sin...

It also sports a GT-R badge and the fugliest front lights I have ever seen.

like he said.its not a real 240 anymore anyway. its in a whole different class now. and if you can get under 10, you can put any fvcking sticker you want on your car.

The point of that car is not to look pretty. Its to draw attention to it/the shop that built it.

if u look in the headlights...there isnt headlights anyway...just a piece of plexiglass...and where is the gtr badge?

Thats at atco raceway, i was actually there when it did that pass...i was with GE0, and at first we didn'tthink it was a KA but it is and it fawking fast, but i believe thats some sort of datsun....but me n GE0 were impressed

no not a datsun. looks like a toyota corolla FX to me. I used to have one. It was actually a pretty quick car (quick, not fast). comes with a front wheel drive 4age but who knows whats in that one.

It's still running the stock fan, intake manifold and ignition coil. It certainly is more "240" than it is "GTR" an any sense. Also, I think the big "R" badge above the left front corner marker is kinda gay.

However, I TOTALLY dig the side exit downpipe (look in front of the driver side door, down low). That car is very quick. I wonder, why is the MPH so low? Seems about 20mph low for those 1/4mi times.

Impressive lookin' machine. I also dig the whole paint scheme. As previously stated, it's to draw attention and it probably does that quite successfully.

that engine bay pics is a few years old...the drag strip pics are recent.

the car ended up running a 8.934 at 148.62...

id say thats damn quick for the MPH!

That is very fast. My buddy used to run 8.50's @ 153 in his big block Cheby with a bajillion hp in nitrous. Getting a laggy turbo car to run like that is a whole 'nother deal. Very impressive!

Seeing as how the GT-R badge is relative to performance over a base model, I think if he wants to put a goddamn GT-R badge on his car then he's got every right to.

I think in many ways it's even more ricer to pick apart the so-called physical "imperfections" of a goddamn sub 9s car than it is to have a badge that INDEED would be ricer, on a 12 second Honda. It reeks of HATER

If a car is pulling 8s and 9s, guess what? It's irrelevant what it's got stuck on it. Unless it's stuck up your cars ***. Which is precisely where it would be wedged if any of you tried to outrun it because IT'S THE FASTEST KA EVER BUILT... Jesus people. Get your priorities in order.

I wasn't bitching, just thought it was funny that someone who has the knowledge to build the fastest KA S13 would put something on their car from autozone that causes them to appear to be naive to the fact that GTR means RB or Skyline. I'm sure they did it as a joke... hopefully.

UIt sounded wicked as hell.. I talk to the guy only briefly, he said its running real rich and he is getting it tuned to run alot leaner and he is looking forward to pull LOW 8's.

I never said the cleanest looking Drag S13. It is simply the fastest KA-T powered S13 that i know of.
