Here we are at Maple Grove Raceway in PA, making the fastest pass ever recorded, for a Nissan in a 1/4 mile. We are going to be at Englishtown for the NHRA event to do it again in front of the masses. We encourage all of you Nissan guys to come down, and show your support.

6.630 second 1/4 mile@ 215 mph...damn!

We plan to go faster at Englishtown knowing the car has a lot left in it.

Wow, that's a helluva thing.

That is indeed the quickest Nissan in the world, I think the title of "fastest" still goes to the NPT Group C car:

Something like 1200+hp on qualifying laps with a top speed around 240mph.



Neither car is likely geared purely for top-end though, it'd be interesting to see which one could top out higher, although I'd probably give the nod to the NTP due to it's aerodynamics.

The record is for the fastest Nissan in a 1/4 mile, not fastest Nissan on a road course or on the Autobahn. There has never been another Nissan on the planet to go faster than 7seconds, or 200mph or more IN A 1/4MILE. We do not dispute the fact that there have been Nissan's to go faster, but not as fast as we did in 1,320 feet.
