12.73 is a nice time for most cars. That must have felt pretty good to pull a time/trap speed like that. BTW what were the operating temps during the run?

^easily 225 by the trap.......I didnt log coolant temp so I really wouldnt know for sure.

it was 95* + for sure.

cant wait to run the car again when its much cooler out.

thanks guys.I have a few more things up my sleeve.

.020 over, magnafluxed, and cleaned.

Arias 8.8:1 pistons.

ARP head and main studs

Cometic head gasket

Clevite main and rod bearings

FelPro gasket set

Crower rods are being ordered tomorrow, along w/ JWT valve springs and retainers.

I have a head thats been ported and polished. (thanks 98altimatic)

next step: fuel system.

damn i will have to say, if i can just get my 240's new motor to push round 280 and it being rear wheel drive i'll be able to pull some nice *** times

I just want to know what you had done at the time and what kind of boost you were running? Another thing I would like to know is what kind of timing are you running and what kind of plugs you have in the car? You really need to get that car to a cooler climate man, that much is for sure.

his car is alright, now my old 85 camry, that was the ****. ran the 1/4 in 12 minutes. cant beat that..

J/K, Gotta love your car Brian. hopefully when i roll back to phoenix soon ill get to see it first had run on the track
