there are so many types of racing, and will be a "fastest s14" in each, so its really a pretty bad question...

well there arent "too" many sr20det's on this board as it is....Id defnitly recommend http://www.freshalloy.com to get more s14 owners opinions, there are a couple of 11 second guy s on that page...dont leave us ; ), just combine both the info : )

i personally dont care for s14, i dont like the looks. As for power, Ive beaten one on the street in my 89 hatchback single cam. hmmm..me thinks the 10 horsepower jump isnt worth it. now when i complete my swap that 65 horsepower jump will be.

I'm not going to leave, I just thought this was the place to get S14 info. there are a lot of FWD DET's on SR20DE forum, so i assumed there were a lot of RWD DET's on here, oh well, I like this forum anyway

prob because most people that are doing a swap into a s13 are going to look for the least expensive, since mileage doesnt matter too much, when the motor and transmission is coming out...

DUY had the fastest KA turbo, and fastest S14, but his car has blown up for the 3rd time in about 6 months. (just died last sunday).

Jay PSI240sx has the quickest S14 of anybody I know down here, but the quickest (or at least most powerfull) is Chris May's.

Derek greaser was doin like 350+hp out of his SR, and there are a like one or two other 400hp SR's floating around FL in S14's as well.

Ray has a 380hp CA powered S14.1 here in Orlando

thats all crap, because its all people who post on the boads ( i know the original question)...I have seen KA+t's with my own eyes with over 550rwhp, i have seen SR's with over 600rwhp...i can name 12 240's, both SR's and KA's that are running from mid 8's, to mid 10's...of course none of them are on the boards...not everyone has time to come online, or even the desire to come online and talk about there cars...and they spend their free time tuning, and would never bother with a message board...of course when you have that much knowledge you dont really have any need for a board other than to waste time or share with others, but most people arent concerned with that....

all im trying to say is dont fall into the trap of thinking that these guys have the most powerful, or fastest 240's on the continent, because they do not by far...i know of many many 240's with both engines on the east coast that dwarf any setups i have ever seeen anywere online....(maybe grumpy's 510 would compare, but still when ive mentioned his ride, i have had people laugh at that setup)...

last idrc at atco there was a 240 w/ ka+t with close to 600whp that ran mid 10's if any of you were there....

(the pepe loco guys like the KA motor, and have gotten a lottttt of power out of it so far)

just dont want people to think that these guys, because they talk about their rides, have the best results....the highest hp cars, will not be found on any of these forums...but there are a lot of good guys who will share their info, which is great.
