I got a great fastback 240 in my garage and its got quite a bit of mileage on it. One of the things that has happened over a period of time is, now there are some scratches on the insed of my window. I'm guessing something has worn out inside the door panel. What is it I need to replace? Is it hard to replace whatever is worn out? Can you give me a step by step to do so? Thanks guys!

take off the door panel [look for ALL the screws, there are a bunch] and operate the window. if nothing is touching, look at the inside of the door panel for anything sharp sticking out. you said it was on the inside of the glass, so it's either the weather stripping (maybe there's road debris in there?), cause i know sometimes that gets hard and cracks, or its something on the inside of the door panel.

good luck
