So yeah I want to make a fast versa! Who doesn't? I want my 1.8 to breathe! So CAI, exhaust. I understand a catback and headers are in the works. I'm excited.

The stillen exhaust is only a axel-back, you probably wont see anything at all out of it. Besides a little more noise.

thats what i was thinking. I think i'll save my money and get a CAT back once they come out, or just take it to my local guy and have him custom make one for me.

i too went with custom pipping as soon as i got my V....i raced a local V not too long ago that had the CAI and cat back with the cvt transmission and beat him by 4 cars, then i gave him the "go" and i beat him by 3 cars and kept pickin up.....so i doubt any mods like the ones available do much....i would just go with CAI and custom pipping from the cat back and just adding a resonator, dont put a muffler on it, it will sound sweet and louder and deeper than the exhaust thats for sale right now....

Is there really such a thing as a fast Versa? I guess if I have a louder exhaust that's gotta be good for 5 HP. I love the car but fast it is not. Of course if I wanted fast I'd have stayed with my V6 Altima

Someone built a custom one with 260hp for that magazine. It's posted on here somewhere. But once you get down to it, for the amount of money they spent on it they could have bought a car that was much faster to begin with.

Yes, turboing the 1.8L or swaping engines w/ a turbo is the only way it will be 'fast'.

no dyno sheet was ever proven of that power. the person was claiming 300 plus hp at sema last yr. still no dyno sheet.

Interesting point about the dyno.. but I doubt Nissan would allow Foxmarketing to have a showcased ride be shown at SEMA or for Modified Mag to give it a feature section as well and not come up with something credible.. plus the it not hard to believe given the Turbo setup on the old 2003 sentra it could pump out that much with a 1.8L.. I wonder how reliable it has been so far and how much did it cost in total as well as dyno results like you, even if it they don't soon their should be a aftermarket kit soon enough a 200-225HP kit would be nice for the street. Also M2Motoring you should post some pics of your VIP Versa in the gallery so others can see you work ...

Heres a link for those that haven't seen the M2Motoring rides.. http://profile.myspace.com/ind...94162

i wasn't the only one questioning the power output at sema. i;m just saying he was claiming 300plus hp at sema i was like bs. i mean brian fox is a nice guy but sometimes he exaggerates too much. 200-225 hp kit i believe. also zpi industiries is in a lot of trouble lately. zpi is the company that built the turbo kit for brian. if you go the scion forums a gang of people have been ripped off. so sad. yep ill post some pics up in the gallery =)
