in the movie f&F just about the when the four were about to race the protagonist (brian spilner) opens his t.v. monitor from his head unit and a 3-d graphical display appears. what program is used to access the engine vitals used to interpret the information onto the monitor. to date i have only found the H.K.S C.A.M.P. is this the one that is used or are there others that i don't know about?

also, while im at it does anyone know who makes the front bumper used by the purple 240 sx used by the character "Letty"?

hey, while im here, im sure this has been a discussion among many enthusiasts, is, when the eclipse exceeded manifold pressure during that same initial race, what the heck was unbolting from his floor pan?

ThanksJD

alright alright, very funny. k-car im impressed. although i don't see how asking whether the hks camp(which does come with graph display) might have been the program that can actually had been used is beyond me. however is seizes to amaze me that you found the time in your busy day to come out with such clever and witty unwarranted remarks. ***is "doubtlessly a word??? is it that noone wanted to play with you as a child? is that a pic of you under your name...why do you look like carrot top, if i were you, i wouldn't be so candid with that self portrait(look what i've come to). i graduated from high school long ago, have you? what's more amazing, is that not only are you flabergasted by the redundancy of the f&f questions, as stupid as you have found mine to be, still haven't figured that one out, you spent way too much time coming out with your second rate elementary imaturity. you ve proven that to be true

Hey, bstd240...if you ask a stupid question...K-Car responds...so in the future don't ask questions that no one cares about. F&F SUCKS, asking questions about it just gets you flamed on...if you must ask questions, go to a HONDA site, they will gladly answer them for you.

with all do respect, i never commended nor endorsed the f&f. the movie itself is technically inaccurate, lacks in any character substance and the script is flat not to mention mundane. something tells me however, most everyone reading this thread will somehow find their way to the movie theatre come the sequel (and the possibility of the threequel as well...yes i just read about that in scc). my questions pertaining to the similar functions of the HKS CAMP(which i am in the market to buy....and seeked some technical advice on it through this list somehow to a scene in the movie is irrelevant to the credibility to a of the movie, but does say enough about k-car.

....honda site, why would i want to go on a honda site, im in the market for an s14 and am the driver of a porsche 944.

You come off as a newbie to cars who wants to turn an S14 into the rice monster. I could care less what car you drive now, ive known 16 year olds who drive Supra TT's, doesnt make them the god of autos, and they end up rolling them usually.

CAMP is pretty much useless as a system monitering piece because you have to buy many of the sensors for it(and those arent in production anymore). If you want something cool and fun to look at then get a stand alone on a laptop in your car (or perhaps something like Greddy Emanage).

The pieces that looked like they were flying everywhere in the movie looked like bolts or washers to me. This was OF COURSE was caused by the aerodynamic undertow caused by disruption of air from the crazy bodykit. Luckily the eclipse was equiped with the self welding system that allowed the floor board to be re-attached to the car soon after the piece was dislodged.

No, like my previous avatar of the fat guy in a diaper, it is not a self-portrait. The current avatar is Blink0r's one-eyed sister, a Canadian Honey if there ever was one. Just ask the Navy.

Don't be so quick to put down canadian chicks. A canadian guy that works for my dad has a brother in law in canada with a daughter that is really hot!!! I see her family and her every year around the holidays. I think she's 16, but she looks like she's going on 21.

i think that the floorpan fell out in the DSM b/c he had a custom intercooler mounted in the floorboard on the passenger side. it was probably a water to air intercooler with a diamond tread cover, and when the intake manifold pressure was too high, it blew the rivets and dropped the intercooler. i'm quite sure that elaborate setup also rerouted the air through the front mount intercooler when not drag racing.

the self welding system dropped a new floorboard in place once the special setup blew.....standard on all super riced out POSDSMs

oh yeah, bstd240, it is CEASES to amaze, not siezes.....i am suprised K car missed that one
