ok i got a real easy q for someone! which coil is the exhaust and which coil is for the intake???

In my experience it does not make a difference. Both coils output the same. The second coil is to help with emissions by improving the flame front. In other words ensuring complete combustion.

oh , my main concern was does one of them fire retarded a little for the exh. plugs?and does it put the same output?

The coils are open circuits, and the distributor closes the circuits at just the right time for each cylinder.

Best pic i have but you can see it. the red spark cover goes to the coil toward the rear of the truck.

ok so i got another problem..... on the vac advence, there is a spot for a wire to plug on to... mines missing the wire, anyone know where it goes to? i can get a pic of what im talking about if needed..... but im guna need a picture of where it plugs into on the other end! thanks everyone for all the help! what a great site!

Ive got the same thing on mine with nothing attached to it . I think its ok mine runs fine !
