Thank you Speedracer, finally some relevant and pertinent information information regarding the hks camp, minus the undoubtedly influenced sarcasm.
rice boy...oh boy, why did you have to go there? that wasn't nice nor hospitable.
the reason im considering the CAMP is because i have a tv monitor and was weighing out the options of either buying my relevant gauges or having it all read out on display in one funtional and ergonomic readout...with audio warning signals and a built-in datalogger.
now for those who (and i don't mean to insult any fellow listers...we are hear to help eachother, not try to decipher one's feelings of inadequecies) have been housing an x-number of gauges all the way across the dashboard into the Passenger's clear point of view (that's helpful), let's not forget housing a bunch of gauges into the passenger airbag compartment... always a nice touch. not to mention those spending four times as much for an electronic boost controller when a simple, effective and inexpensive manual ball valve boost controller will work just as well. "simple, effective and consistent" isn't that what we ask of our boost controllers?. i admit the CAMP does enhance the interior of the car, but not with it's funtional merit, do electronic boost controller weigh the same value? but they sure look good, right?!
a series of relevant gauging comprised in an easy to read fasion can serve an invaluable source of information for one valuable turbo system, noone can argue that. having all pertinent information in one easy to read housing seems to be feature most would strive to achive, would it not? the reason i asked whether the camp system was the system that might have been used in the movie was to know if A. that is how the camp is displayed graphically and B. if there are others monitoring systems out there would anyone know what they are.
rice boy... i don't get it
