So I am reporting back. Bought tickets online today and went with a couple friends tonight. No "teen-night" ricer revv action tonight, it was nice. Anyways, I was thoroughly impressed with the movie. It was very entertaining and far fetched as usual. But I say hats off for making a 5th sequel actually worth watching. Plus the previews made me realize how much money I will be spending at the movies this summer :squint:

Will have to wait and see where this fits in.
I had to login just to post to this. Haven't seen the latest one, but Tokyo Drift and 2 Fast SUCKED! BIG ONES! Tokyo Drift was especially retarded. I don't how anyone could have liked that movie. Horrible story line and horrible acting. DK? Drift King? Come on, give me a break. Cheesy much? Also, I loved the parts where it shows inside the car when they are driving down the mountain and you hear no tires squealing and they can carry on a conversation like they were just casually cruising. And the part where the main character that drives the Evo (yeah, an Evo!) is drifting around that really long curve like an onramp or something and there is no noise, and it's just like he's casually driving down the freeway. :tisk:  Sorry, that movie is just a sore spot for me. Also wonder how many S15s they trashed, along with all the other nice, rareish cars. I would bet that most of them didn't know what they were crashing. But that's any movie for ya. So far, I think it's:

1) Fast & Furious
2) The original

I don't include the other two because they sucked so bad. I'm hoping the new one will actually be half-way decent. I can buy movie tickets discounted through my work and picked up a couple a while back, so I'll prolly just use them and go with a friend. Unless I see something else I'd rather see.
