alright well i was reading up on some site that the fastest US spec 240 is running 10's.. what i wanna know is with an SR (that would be non us specs right?) is it possable to make a 240 that runs in the 9's.. would it need internal work or could u pull it off with just a bigger turbo and some N2O?

a guy did have a KA s14 running 10's think it was 10.83 or 10.38 . his name was Duy im pretty sure. the site about his car is around somewhere.

just because its an SR doesnt mean its faster. and yes internal work is absouletly needed and just the begining of what is needed to get down the track that fast.

sorry, but i dont think so. Maybe but it would take alot. No offense to anyone. I would think that a rb26 240 would be just as easy to build maybe im retarded tho. Actually it would be really cool if the 240ss was made into a 427 tt like the lingenfelters then i would believe it

oh i think that the owner of veilside had a skyline running 8s thats y i say that about the rb26, this was stock body

I guess I'm gonna have to go with retarded on this one. Domestics are the king of going fast in a straight line, bar none. Considering he has an engine over twice as big as a KA (almost 3x an SR), do you honestly think it will be HARD to make it go fast? In a 2700lb car?! Use your head. A 100 shot, LSD and slicks and it should see 11's easily.

The lingenfelter was a stock 350 AFAIK.. maybe a 383? Regardless it was far from a 427. And you'd hardly need that much power to be the fastest 240 in America.

Just because it's not mAd JdM doesn't mean it isn't fast. :oface
