My project list is long, so when my 1986 720 lost compression in cylinders #3 and #4 I decided to let her go.
New owner drove it an hour to get it home and pulled the head off. Said I had a blown head gasket between #3 and #4, so that explains the problem.
He's going to get her up and running again so she will live on.
I hope my DIY contributions here will help many in the future. I will move on to other projects but I can say this . . .
I sure did love that truck.
