I traded in my 2008 Rogue SL last week for a 2016 GMC Canyon SLT. I needed more towing and cargo capability, and the Rogue was no longer cutting the mustard. That along with needing new callipers, rotors, control arms, joints, etc it was time.

I put 140K miles on it, the only issue I had was the failed CVT at 72K miles which was replaced under warranty. Had to replace rear shocks which were leaking. I was on 3rd set of tires, 3rd set of rear pads and second set of front pads. I likely did more truck stuff with my Rogue than most people do with their trucks. I towed a 1500# boat, packed it full of camping gear and spent quite a bit of time off road in the woods.

Great car, would highly recommend it to anyone.

I did look at the 2016 Frontier but until they redesign their 10 year old model, just could not compare to the ride of the Canyon, and the technology inside.

Take care all!!

I like the Canyon...

I have heard of fit and finish issues with the new Colorado and Canyon... Keep us informed of any that you may find
