Both my fans have quit on me today, 108 degree weather, had to pull over and stop. This is my first problem with car, I have been lucky. I have been told that the relays are problematic on these cars, is it true. Fuse is OK, so must be relay, right? I have an oil cooler and lines run right next to the fan relay, could the heat a problem?

Thanks Larry

might be a heat problem or to many amps going through the one relay. You should have one relay per fan. Also a fuse for them. I used to melt relays last year, melted two over the course of a year. Fixed the problem by adding a relay per fan.

Thanks shocker, only saw single relay, so that could be it.
