I was wondering if anyone has ever used an open/closed circuit temp sensor to wire a cooling fan. i found a nissan one that will fit in the stock temp sensor holder in the radiator hose. says it closes at 169-179 and opens again at 159-168. Im not sure what the voltage in the system is supposed to be though.

How would you wire this??

I found GP Sorensen coolant switch (40-5005) that closes the circuit at 179oF and fits in the KA's stock coolant temp switch housing that is in the lower rad hose (90 model).I can only assume that this is on a 12v circuit and all you have to do is wire it as a switch with a relay?

you would want to wire the sensor/switch to provide ground to the relay.

I had similar trouble w/mine this weekend. Gave up on the included thermostat in it for now (it's a black magic, real nice). So I decided to throw a switch instead. It also activates with the ac.
