It sounds like one of the idler pulley bearings is frozen. The pulleys are part of the tension adjustment for each of the belts. See if you can pinpoint the noise (look at the belt that drives the fan first) or loosen/remove the belts and manually rotate each pulley by hand to see which one is binding.JakeJ wrote:last week my fan started squeaking and then today when i started up my car, the squeaking had stopped but the fan got louder whenever i revved up the motor.
