Fan Shroud???

My kid just picked up a '96 240sx-se. It needs a water pump. I took a quick look to see whats involved, looks straight forward, but I would like to remove the upper fan shroud for easier access. Does it come off in two pieces or one? And any tricks to get it off? Thanks...

i know the 89-94 comes off in one piece but im not sure about 96' just make sure you reinstall it right..

Thanks, is it easier to leave the elec. fan connected to the shroud and just pull it up as one unit???
