Fan out to radiator

Have 04 G35 coupe, need fan replaced mechanic stated although one fan is out have to replace both. Est. cost labor and fan $500. Wanted some thoughts if this was reasonable? And has anyone had this issue? And your results. Thx in advance for any feedback

Parts are probably not that expensive...$500 sounds like a big labor charge. You can save some $$ and do it yourself with simple hand tools. Check out the FSM for details on what to do (link in my sig).
