i had a local shop in minnesota do my 5 speed swap. end result was not perfect but okay. the guy who did the swap told me my elctric fan wasnt turning on he said do u want to take it as is or would u like us to fix it? i said fix it, so he took out the fan controller that was originaly there the one with the little prob going into the radiator fin and replaced it with a relay of some sort. now the fan is always on when the elctrical system is on. is this gonna be a problem further down the road? should i replace the fan with a fan controller of some sort ?

mine only turns on when i turn on my a/c. it may kick on also when the temp gets too hot, but mine never has and temp gauge is always on the cool side.

If you don't mind saying, how much was the swap? Did you provide the parts or have them do the whole thing?

Thanks

Overcooling isn't good, especially in MN. Your car was designed to run at a specific temp.

That said, it's probably not going to hurt anything in the short term as long as you get it fixed in the near future.
