Has anyone ever done this? Like a lot of RB owners I run pusher e-fans. I think at a certain mph, the fans are not as efficient as incoming fresh air from the car moving. I don't know where this crossover point is, but I'd like to experiment with turning off the fans when my car has gone over a certain speed on the track, say 75 mph.

I'm running a PFC which I know can not do this. I dreamt about using the "Switches" on the datalogit box, but I'm pretty sure they don't do anything. It would be nice if they did though.

My DIF fan controller works really well. No speed input, but when traveling at speed the temp drops pretty quickly below the threshold and the fans turn off anyway. The only time my fans are running is when i'm idling after driving for a bit.

my problem only occurs on the track. i'd like to have the fans turn off on the straights to maximize cooling, where no fan controller (including dif/hks) will be able to react to in time as they are all coolant temp based still. maybe the solution is to try and switch to a puller setup so the pushers aren't working against the incoming air.

If I had an s-14 I'd hack up my core support and run a clutch fan.
