Hey folks, this is my first post to your forums, and i've been lurking for some time, so thanks for all the advice!

The issue I am looking for advice with is why my fan clutch, recently replaced less than 1000 miles ago, is starting to work overtime. It will start to spin fast randomly while heading down the highway, and sometimes while cruising or after parking it will be spinning fast. And this is not in hot weather or anything. My temp gauge always reads pretty cool, and I was told my thermostat isnt working and keeps my engine running cooler than it needs. Is this related to this problem?
My previous fan clutch started out this way, and got to the point where it would constantly spin loudly all the time. It was definatly sucking a lot of power and I dont want this new fan clutch to start doing the same.

Thanks in advance yall!
