fan clutch question

how often is the fan supposed to kick on? mine stays on all of the time and squeals after about 4k rpm, who sells them and is there an adjustment or easier fix to repair this problem?

There's not been an adjustment in an vehicle where I've dealt with the fan clutch.

It's a straightforward change. Maybe an hour.

What year PF/Q?

its a 97 se with 205k miles

i just changed one on a 2001 qx4...pretty easy...$59.99 from O'Reilys auto parts. getting the fan shroud in and out was the most time consuming part of the process.
