Ok today my fiancee had outpatient surgery on her knee. (fell at work) She lives 99 miles away door to door. I drove up this morning to be there with her. As I get to Madisonville KY and exit the interstate I hear a roaring noise like a jet plane when I downshift into 3rd. It matches engine rpm, and then under accel it begins to squeal the belt. I can keep it from happening by being gentle of course. So I go get her do the surgery thing and take her back home. She is all doped up on morphine and lortab so she wants sex and a movie So anyway, its getting dark and all and I need to get back home. I say to myself well I will try it and see what happens. New Gates belt, its tensioned right, and it will either make it or I will have to take the fan off. It wont go 70 mph without a solid steady squeal. So I stop and take the poor thing off. (197000 miles oem) Makes it home fine. Runs a whole lot better too. I guess its been going for a while, since it used to drag down a bit shifting to second, and now it feels just perfect.

So anyway.

I know about the altima fan setup. My ac fan works perfect. Has anyone set up a pusher fan on the front of the condenser with the thermal switch as the main cooling fan?

I dont see any reason to replace the giant goofy looking fan unless a electric option wont work.

Oh yeah the last time I went to see her injector three died. Maybe she is bad luck?
