Fan change suggestions?

Planning conversion 89 240 to electric fan run car on 1/3 mile stock car track and need more hp and cooling help.

i use the fans from a ford taurus sho - 96 i believe. heres what they look like. the size of the shroud is nearly the same as the stock 240 radiator. i gave $30 for that.

i heard that the altima or maxima dual fans work......anybody wanna tell me if this is right?

what about the electric fan that is stock on the 240?? is that enough to cool the car?? or do u need sual electric fans?

the little stock fan may be able to cool the car under normal conditions, but would you want that as your only fan on a hot day after some spirited drivring? i wouldn't so i got duals. one comes on according to the thermoswitch setting. the other small fan is wired to a switch under the dash. i use it during a/x to cool the car while on grid and turn it off before entering course.

I have Altima fans (93) on my tropical driven 240sxnow I cant use the AC on low 'cause is frezzes up inside!!!Wired to the stock ECU and a adjustable thermistor.Only little trimming at the sides needed.

Can you post pics of the altima fans on the 240? My friend's and I recently got the idea of putting the Altima fans on our KAs once we saw the fans on the Altima.

Altima fans are the ones I see used commonly. I didn't want to pay the premium for the lower supply of them so I bought Maxima fans. There's cutting involved, and HKS USA is backordered on the fan controllers if you're thinking of getting that. I've been waiting for mine since the 12th of January.

i use one 16in zirgo sblade fan, it pulls 2800cfm, and keeps it nice and cool now matter how hard i abuse the hell out of the car. i havent had any problems with it other than figuring out how to wire it.
