Are we talking about having everyone meet in BG on the 6th and stay till the 7th? or arrive on the 5th and leave on the 6th?

As far as hotels, as long as you get 4 people, the Best Western and Drury Inn aren't bad. I'm guessing around $15 a person.

I'd say most will want to come on the 6th early and stay over night and leave on the 7th.Others may want to come in on the 5th late and stay over night both nights or leave on the 6th late?So both I guess...

Wonder how much attention this has gotten. Here in a week or so you think someone should let 240sx gen. and some others know about this? We would draw more attention that way I think.

I agree....the interest seems a little weak so far. We need something to interest people, but besides the track, I don't know of anything as of now. I'll see if there will be any local car shows or something of automotive interest.

I have been following this thread and it seems like the same old people are going to show up. Also is the meet going to be in bowling green? What things are you planning to do on what days? Is there going to be autocrossing? I'll also try to bring Bill down with me. Also Bill still wants to see his drift/movie. Thanks. Nick

The only thing so far is the 1/4 mile track. We could visit the Corvette museum since all we've done so far is meet in the parking lot and not actually go in. Yes, I know that it is a Nissan/Infiniti meet, but I think we all have at least some shred of respect for the Corvette, and the museum isn't half bad. That's my suggestion. Only question is....what time and day would be good?

Nick, the only reason it seems like the same ole people are going is because the same ole people are the only ones that actually check NICO meets. Thats why we need to get some attention in the other forums. And that is a good sudjestion (sp) about actually GOING IN the Corvette museum instead of just using its parking lot. How about we do both :) Not much else to do in BG. Could find some ricers at night to mess around with, because there are plenty of them.

Im a big fan of the Corvette Museum,Ive been there about 6 times.(and yes I went inside) The track is a good hang out spot if your not racing. It would be a good idea to go to a place with lots of parking like the Vette mueeum or the Mall to eat in the food cort. The chase down ricers idea wont work with a line of cars that don't know their way arround BG.

I am sure that the BG will have more people than the Indy meet. Typically the Georgia guys show up and I have to say, they are really squared away.

I am working on the drift video. Since it was super 8 I had to give it to a guy at church to convert it for me. I dont expect for it to take a long time. I am hoping this guy will edit it for me, since he does professional editing for races on the Speed Channel. Once I get the footage back, give your address and I will send you a copy for Bill.

I can promis that we will have many new people at this upcoming meet!I have several people that I have never meet on G20.net,Altimas.net,Maximas.org,502streetscene.com, and Louisvillestreets.com that are really interested in going.Plus I will be making a poster to pass out all over. Not to mention the same old people that will be there. So the soner the better on nailing down the little details so I can go to work.BTW: Nissan/Infiniti owneres are not the only people that can come...we almost always convert a honda owner.;)

Yeah, i was bored. Nah, I just didn't think we had alot of people show up at the last meet compared to some of the ricing honda meets I've been too. I'll be there though and i will bring Bill with me. Hes going to bring down his KA-T. Also you need to scout out a few drift spots too. Nick

I'll see what I can find as far as a place to goof off and drift without attracting too much attention.

As far as hotels, has anyone ever stayed at a Baymont Hotel? The one here is only $49.00 a night and I bet we could get them down lower depending on how many people decide to stay. It's right next to Bob Evans and Waffle House and it's right off the Highway 231 exit into Bowling Green....very easy to find.

For those old enough....there is a bar across the street inside of the Travelodge....we call it the Tasty T....it's different (best way I can describe it) :D ....but for more of a college age crowd, there is a place downtown called the Brewing Company that is pretty nice. They're both fun in their own ways.

Bowling is always an option....and there is always Nashville if we really want to go out and have a good time. This may not be a bad option for those who come on Friday.

Thoughts? Questions? Let me know any concerns, requests, etc.

How much does it cost to Dyno? Can we get a deal with X amount of cars?I think the last time I went to a Dyno it was like $50 for 3 runs.

I would be interested in a dyno but, not for 50. Maybe like jezter said you can work out a deal. Nick

Yeah I have been wanting to dyno the car for a while. $50 for 3 pulls is not bad. That is about the average. Clemons here charges that.

I'll check into it for sure. I think everyone would find that interesting and fun...even if their car wasn't going on it.
