They aren't for anything... they absolutely SUCK.... however for a cheap drifting tire :D

BTW, they suck more than my bald Azenis did in the rain

If you want some REALLY grippy tires... try some JDM Potenza RE540S's on for size... all i have to say is WOW... oh... and just use any z-rated tire for drifting...they should hold up ok..

I have 'em, cheap as hell in that stock size. I can't say if they're that great (no easy comparison) but a lot of threads on here say they are a decent bang for your grip buck.

I can say they are better than the bargain winter tires that came on the car:rolleyes

i have them, they are great in the rain and are pretty grippy in dry conditions, nothing compared to azenis though.

only problem ive had with them is if you drive the car hard through many corners (heating the tires up real good) the small tread blocking causes them to chunk apart easily. instead of just just getting chewed up on the outside edge of the tire each block of tread gets torn up.

i highly recommend them for daily driving, especially if you live in a rainy area! they dont hold up well indrifting or autocross.

yeah they're good commutor tires and what would you expect for how much they are. I got mine all mounted and balanced at machIII for 220. Ha ha ha but then again I do a 50mile commute each way several times a week from san francisco to san jose. They're not bad in the rain either. Personally I miss my potenza 750's but as a student couldn't really afford those bad boys and they wouldn't last too long compared to the falkens.

I live in Seattle and I've gone through two full sets of falken Ziex's and for a car that see's a lot of rain I highly reccomend them. They don't suck at all in my opinion. I don't think I'd go near the azenzi's living in Seattle. When I drive hard in the rain they pull loose if I corner hard but the car comes right back with just a nudge of counter steer. unless of course I throw the whole back out and drift the corner. I personally love my tires. Alot of control in both dry and wet conditions.Oh, and I was under the impression my 17" Ziex's were Z rated. Right!?
