I just got four of those... Anyone have bad things to say about these tires and what I should look out for?

I actually just put on a pair as well. Needed new tires for the rainy season, and from what I read, performance is good and the price is definitely right (something like 72/tire installed from BigO).

One thing people were saying is that the sidewalls were soft, but I haven't really noticed that. They handle rain really well, and do fine in dry weather as well.

Ive had them in 205/60/15 for over a year. The sidewalls are a bit mushy... abit more so than yoks of the same size. But you cant expect much from a high sidewall tire like our stock sizes have. From the look of your 17" (?) rims and low profile i doubt youll have to worry about that at all.

Hmm. Also for a rain tire they start out great, but at about 70-60% life they dissapoint. I blame the tread compound more than the design since they dont hydropplane that easily. However in the wet they break lose easily and suddenly without warning, very touchy if you drive aggressive in wet conditions. They can handle a little bit of snow... as long as your moving.... i cant tell you how many times ive gotten stuck in peoples driveways (open diff) and i have to resort to the highly involved method of rocking the car back and forth, then when you have just enough momentum you can gently ease your way out..... ARG!

One nice thing about these tires is they break away very smoothly in the dry, A+ for drifting and just screwing around with the car! Dry grip is lacking compared to ES100, but these are very cheap tires, you cant complain!

yeah, i myself have a set of these on my s13 with the stock 7 spoke wheels... size of the tires is like 195/60/15 i THINK, not sure bout the AR but it's close.. it's been raining alot lately and I can tell you that with my open diff that it breaks loose pretty easy if you gas during a turn or if u gas 3/4 from a stop you'll break lose pretty easy... I'm not complaining though because they handle pretty good in dry weather and I bought all 4 for 200 bucks new and I just mounted and balanced myself... overall they're a good bang for the buck
