FAL Installation questions...

bought some FALs from XAT racing, they didnt send a thermostat and said I really didnt need one that I could wire it up to the SR harness somewhere.

I have a redtop SR.. can anyone explain this to me?

Maybe you can wire it to the stock temp sensor, but it's not that accurate anyway, should have an external control. Dudes at XAT don't sound like they know what they're doing.

Xat has produced some nice cars making reliable power, don't shoot them down if you have no experience with them...

As for an external control for those fans, I'd do a DIF controller...

You're right, I shouldn't knock them. But whoever talked to him should have told him his options, or at least how to wire it up.

honda fan switch from a civic or an accord. in the upper rad hose or water neck wired to relays and power source, fans come on like it was efans from factory. fans come on at 190? and turn off at 165 give or take a few degrees. looks clean and profesional IMO.
