Haha, I assume they don't normally make them in plastic!!!

Need I say more?

I got it from a forum member before you flame me, I am getting in contact with him and we will get it worked out. I think he may have thought it was real.

meh... I kinda like the ssqv... the only downfall is everyone and their mama's rockin it... almost like theres an ssqv bandwagon

anyways... yeah... I wouldn't trust the fake ssqv's (or any other fake bov), theres nothing like compressor surge...

Hell no this thing is not on my car. I looked at it today and threw it back in the box. Its going in the trash if i cannot get my money back.

Honestly, I could give a crap what it sounds like. I was just looking for something reasonable pricewise that would perform well.

Yes, there are fake ones made out of plastic that are replicas, and they dont work for piss.

I had an ARC S1 bov, it was just a stock sounding one.

I have an SARD R2D2 now, its pretty boss, "heard it on other cars" i love the sound of a powerfull PHOOSH! but the R2D2 sounds different than the others.

You should post a pic of that plastic one. I'm curious what it looks like. Does it look like a childs toy? Does it have a hole in the bottom so you can take it in the bathtub and squirt water from it?

BTW, that duck call taped to the BOV sounds hilarious. I'll have to look that up on youtube.

You are probably talking about the MONZA bov. It is a knock off of the HKS bov and at first site looks identical. I have always run true hks bov on my cars and recently had a Monza bov on my daily driven car that I had purchased with it on there and it actually sounds just like the hks bov and worked pretty decent. If you want the quality though, then of course go hks.

a buddy of mine had the ssqv on his SR and it sounded like oridos and it was the way it came. He always said he thought the diaphragm was giving out lol so idk. i think if you run 20+ lbs on it it may start to sound like that but idk
