Fairlady Z Emblem Installation

Just got the Fairlady Z emblem for my Z. Any help/ suggestions on what I can do to get rid of the adhesive residue left from the 350Z emblem?

After flossing off the 350 emblem, I used goof off

Then used Ice liquid clay bar to get any other stuff left on the surface.

No prob, just be a bit careful with the Goof liquid..

I like Goo Gone mlorwe than Goof Off because I don't think it's as harsh. Another option is to not use anything like either one of those products and just use a claybar (a real one, none of that liquid claybar crap) instead.

...or just set the car out in the Sun for a while or use a hair dryer for a bit then you can rub off the stuff with your fingers!

this might be a little late but for mines, i used blow dryer to get the emblem off and used 3M adhesive and wax remover for the left over stuff, it will leave a clean spot once your done but that won't matter since you have a new emblem anyways. GL
