100k miles, bone stock, twin turbo, manual, with maintenance records. How much should I offer?

How much is it worth to you? there have been quite a few recently on BaT that have sold for $20k+ in similar condition.

It’s hard to say. Do RHD imports go for more or less than LHD in the US?

LHD cars definitely go for more.

Really? I’ve heard mixed things so far. I’ve also found a bone stock import (other than rims and exhaust) 1993, 65k miles, also mint for $20k and I’m highly considering that option

With a niche market it always depends on the buyer but the higher end market (stateside) with generally go after the USDM cars because they are USDM and can be fully documented from day 1. Grey market cars usually are less sought after because blackouts in history. Some buyers and thus sellers value JDM vehicles more because of the supposed rarity, though at this point I don't know which is more rare since so many USDM examples have gone to the bone yard. Historically I've seen more beat USDM NA cars beat, wrecked, or rusted beyond salvation than I have JDM ones but that's simple statistics since there were historically many more USDM cars than JDM cars in the states. Now the remaining vehicles are starting to soar in price because the bad ones have been put out of their misery but the statistics are now different since the ratio of USD to JDM cars has greatly changed. At the end of the day its a niche market and the Z you buy is only worth what you, or someone else is willing to pay for it. The Z32 doesn't have the following that the earlier Z cars or the 90s supra had, nor the following that the RX7 experiences so almost any example is still attainable by most means. For comparison, I traded an old xterra (valued at like $2500) for my previous Z32 NA Auto 2+2 LP2 USDM car and sold it for $6500 a year later with minimal input. The car was 10/10 mechanically and 7/10 aesthetically. My current Z32 (also a USDM car) which is built and off the spectrum of a "regular" car I paid $800 for with blown engine and an auto trans.

Thanks for your detailed response. Does anyone know where I can find differences in JDM spec 1989-1999 Z32? I’ve searched and searched but can only find US info. Without a Carfax or anything it’s hard to make sure everything is as said and I’m just curious as to the differences as well.

All I can say is go high. Drive the prices up more. I’m going to list mine at 25 and see what happens.

Here in western Canada prices for LHD are typically double to a (similar) comparable RHD.
