Fair price for an S13 manual trans?

Oh shizzle, are ya giving in to the manual or else fanboys?

And depending on the mileage I wouldn't say more than $200 for a really nice example. They're abundant so it should be pretty cheap.

I am looking for one myself. I figured I'll stick with my KA24E for a while anyways, I'm satisfied with the power for now. I was quoted $550 for a JDM one with a guaranteed 35K km on it, but that is my last resource. Look in junkyards and on the classified section.

i bought my trans with s14 driveshaft and short shifter for 300.. sold the driveshaft for 75

so 225 for pilot short shifter and s14 trans with 30k miles on it, i got a good deal

Yeah, the number of people dumping KA engines and transmissions for SR swaps vastly outweighs the number of people doing auto to manual swaps, IMO.

I agree with SeVA-S13...$200 should buy you a nice low mileage transmisson that doesn't grind, no issues.
