Fail Safe Mode

On the 2002-06 Altima's, if the car goes into fail safe mode after the MAF sensor is replaced, can the fail safe mode be erased or reveresed on a diagnostic computer? There were a couple topics that talked about the fail safe mode but non explained if this can be done or not.

Unplugging the battery for 5 min or so should do just fine
