What color is your coupe? are you planning to buy a coupe or you already own one?principito wrote:Hello pple...i dont know if this might seem dumb to some of you but i needed to ask.
I think Red is a great color for an alti coupe, but i've heard a lot of comments that along with Black, Red is and incledibly difficult color... it requires a lot of mainteinance, plus it fades away. after a while it starts to look more "orange".I had a black car and it always seemed to be dirty plus the paint required a lot of mainteinance. i dont want to go through that again.
i would like to hear some comments or experiences with red paint before.
thanx mates
LBC, you crack me up.LongBeachCoupe wrote:hey lets not take out the ruler here boys... i think most can agree... black is more maintenance than red!
LMAO but true, I got silver because it looks clean even when covered with roads salt But with the nissan paint I'd be more worried about it scratching or chipping off before it will fade!LongBeachCoupe wrote:hey lets not take out the ruler here boys... i think most can agree... black is more maintenance than red!
Azure/Adriatic blue is effortless, I almost never wash it and it's always VIBRANT and shinnyLongBeachCoupe wrote:hey lets not take out the ruler here boys... i think most can agree... black is more maintenance than red!

Black shows every little defect. Silver/grey is the easiest. White is tough because every piece of dirt shows up. My Azure blue is pretty easy to take care of. I have never heard about red being a tough color to keep clean as long as you know what you're doing.Frozer!!! wrote:Black is the hardest to maintain hands down.. You cant see swirl marks on red as clearly as you can with black paint.
