Are you checking the tire pressure when the tires are cold, or after they have warmed up after you have driven the car for a while?
Try this. Check your tire pressure when the tires are cold. I’m going to make a wild guess and say that you don’t have an air compressor at home, so you check the tire pressure after the TPMS light illuminates, which means that you have to drive somewhere to put air in your tires.
Here is the deal. During the extended cold weather you are having in Maryland, your tires have become low on air, lower than 32PSI cold. Tires naturally lose air in cold weather.
According to Edmunds.com, every 10-degree drop in ambient temperature results in a one-psi reduction in tire pressure.
