Hi Everyone -

I had my wheels stolen and have found some factory wheels to replace mine. Two are painted and two are not. I am stripping the paint off of the painted wheels.

I am new to this process and am also color blind. After I strip the paint, do I need to re-paint the wheels as close to the factory color as possible, or are the wheels already that color and I just need to clear coat them?

Thanks in advance.

The factory wheels are just aluminum. Some were chromed, but that was a dealer option. There was an anti-corrosion coating on them from the factory as well, but as long as you prep all the wheels the same and use the same clear, they should all match.
