The shortcomings of the RSA's is well documented, but I have never heard anything about the Bridgestone tires that are on some of the factory tires now. Just curious more than anything...

My 2008 M35 Sport came with the Bridgestone Potenza RE050A's on it. So far I only have 1500 miles on the tires but I'm satisfied with their performance. I would classify my driving style as "spirited". These tires are responsive and corner very well. They have good wet pavement traction and great dry pavement traction. I have not noticed any significant trameling with these tires. There are a little noisey, but not too bad. You don't really notice it in the cabin with the windows up at speeds less than 65 mph. Certainly not as noisey as the Michelin Pilots, but then I don't think they perform as well as the Michelin's either. When they are worn I probably will try a set of the Michelin Pilot Sport 2's and see how they perform on this car and then I'll have experience with each to decide what the next set of tires after that will be. Generally I go through a set of tires a year.

Yes, the RSA's are crap.I replaced mine with Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS. Very satisfied with its performance, quietness & comfort.
