does any one here have or know were to find tail lamps for my 1963 l320
i have been looking for over a year and have only found one and it was extremely expensive
also would love to see good photos of these and how they are mounted as my truck is the only 320 i have ever seen in person
also seems these may have had an option of reverse lamp?

thanks

63 320,

Yes, extremely expensive to come by. Of my fleet of 6, I have the OE lamps on 3.5 of my beds. I am missing a right one, but only have an extra left steel box - so this does not help much. There is a single one out there that is brand new for $275, ouch. This is only the lens and lamp housing, steel frame not included.

A few lens have been advertised on eBay from Thailand or Singapore. I have a set of the these, they are amber and red. Pretty nice. I think a set of red ones were on eBay at one time for around $120. Never seen the metal tail lamp housing and I think I a steel housing that was advertised a couple of years ago.

Back up light - yes an option. I believe it is/was a single square lamp with rounded corners that bolted to the back of the left/driver side bumper bracket. No idea were the switch goes to activate the reverse lamp.

Will get some pics for you tomorrow.

Lil Truckie.

Came across this reverse lamp on eBay from Thailand. I have order from this vendor several times with no issues. Looks to be in great shape and can't argue on the asking price - though the shipping seems a bit steep.

Thanks I have been hesitant to buy not knowing what the originals looked like
and i am finding for some items there are several " factory " or " OEM " parts that
are complety different styles
I am not sure if some people assume their truck still has all original parts or they actually did come with different styles

The roadsters came with reverse light(s) mounted under the rear bumper. That doesn't help with availability much, but there are replacement lenses and gaskets available from roadster vendors for the roadster lamp. I'm not sure if the 1500 roadster reverse lamp was an exact match for the 320 lamp.
There is a stainless lamp available that looks somewhat like the stock one that some roadster guys have installed. It isn't a perfect match, but looks similar.

I have never seen a 320 with a reverse lamp.

That looks nice for a rear back up light. Don't know if I would go with rectangular lamps up front with round head lights and round turn indicators. But for the back bumper, those would blend in nicely.

I would really appreciate anyone who could post some good pictures of the tail lamps and mountings on the bed as mine are long gone
i am trying to see if i can fabricate or modify 520 tail lamp housings with the 320 lenses on ebay to look correct
thanks
i seem to be unable to see photos in some posts so if these photos are already in this forum please let me know how to view them

63 320 -

Pics are here of an OE unused left tail light steel box and one I caught before it fell off on the side of the road -

May not be the greatest design idea.

Not sure where you're located or if you have found any taillights yet but just came across this post of what I believe is a 620 pickup bed turned into a trailer...yes, what a shame : ( but either way it appears to have original taillights and housings which from what I've researched are "close" to the L320 lights. So if you haven't had any luck yet you could try these out maybe?

Thank you for the info, I recently got lucky and found a 320 in the same sad state ( a trailer ) with good lights and brackets so now just have to save for a reverse lamp

Yes, this is a good alternative with readily available parts - tail light bracket and light assemblies - for a fraction of the price if and when a 320 assembly does appear on eBay. Pretty sure you can get an OE example from a state side vendor or one from Thailand/Far East (I have had no issues when ordering from any of these guys!)
