my AUX plug messed up on my factory stereo. I'm looking to buy another stock stereo. will I need a code for it? because I know some factory stereos need some code for them to work. If so, does anyone know the code? (altima coupe)

If you get another one, and need the unlock code for it, search "unlock radio" in google and it will bring up and array of companies that only require the serial number to aquire your code. They usually charge a small fee, but its worth knowing. However, I don't remember ever having to enter a code when removing mine. The guy I sold my stock one too never asked me for a code, I imagine if he needed one he would have asked me first.

I have a stock head unit I would be willing to sell, But it's for a 2007 Altima Sedan only used for 2 weeks and it has been sitting in a box ever since. I replaced my head unit with an alpine/nav unit 2 weeks after I bought the car.

Let me know if you are interested. Just make sure it's compatible since mine is for a 07 sedan and not the coupe.
