factory stereo amp

does a 1992 240sx have a factory amp..i think its supposed to be a light green cable but i cant find it...i connect my new touch screen radio but no sound..stock speakers all wired up right

Does the speakers say Active Speakers on the grille? I put in an aftermarket head unit in my '91 SE that has Active Speakers and had to plug up my remote wire to get sound to come out of them. Maybe it's that. Someone should chime in that knows exactly whats wrong.

i threw all that s*** away. i just ran standard audio wire from my cd player to the 4 speakers and put in a kicker amp for the subs.

if your headunit is wired straight to your speakers, either something is setup wrong on your headunit, or all your speakers are messed up. Check all your setting first, and the manual that came with you headunit.

well the wires for the speakers on the head unit are correctly connected to the wires from the car...no sound idk wat to do..but no answer to my first question....does the car have a factory amp...also the blue and white wires from the headunit are connected together then connected to my remote wire....i dont have subs or an amp yet just hooking it all up

You didn't read my post did you? Read my quote below. That's about the only way that we are going to know if you have factory amps or not. Either that or if you tell us if your 240 is a base model, SE, or whatever. More info dude!
