just got off the phone with my local dealer. i had ordered a spoiler when i bought my car 2 weeks ago and it was to be in last week. called the dealer today to see if it was in yet and they told me that there isnt one made yet but its in production and will be available in roughly 6 months or sooner and they would give me a call soon as its in. so there will be an actual nissan spoiler available for the coupe in the near future.... but why did it take em 2 yrs to produce a spoiler for it? just thought id throw that out there though since i hadnt seen anyone talk about that.

don't count on it, dealers will tell you all kinds of things, so far there is no word on a factory spoiler....

He shoulda just told you yes, they have factory spoilers, and sold you a stillen lip rofl. i dont think anything nissan could produce could look more 'stock' or 'correct' on that car than the stillen lip.

(not to mention I have one, and i LOVE IT! LOL)

i think he's talking about the rear and not the front lip (spoiler). hahaa i got confused for a second too. but yeah, the best looking spoiler for the coupe by far imo is the stillen rear spoiler. and who knows maybe they may even make that spoiler from the concept ac they had in the magazine!

My rear spoiler is a Nissan unit! Not a Stillen. They definitely do exist. I had to wait for my dealer to get the Stillen exhaust in but the Nissan spoiler (in a Nissan box!) was there in a day or two. It is larger and a bit deeper than the Stillen spoiler.

yea i was a lil baffled about it myself. cuz i remembered seeing one on their lot that had a spoiler on it, a 2 post spoiler. oh and yea im talking rear spoiler lol. i told the person that on the phone and they said n" oh that must have been aftermarket. you dont want that. it wil ruin the look of the car." lol i was just thinking bout the stillen one and yours,ferguson... they are the 2 i prefer.but eh i dunno .. stupid dealers

I prefer the subtlety of the Nissan and Stillen units... they augment the rear shape of the car but don't overpower it...

I have the Nissan (Canadian) one as well. I ordered it and had it shipped from Ontario to me here in Atlanta, Ga. It was simple and easy to install, and the factory paint was a perfect match. It looks just like the picture above. I can take a few pics if anyone wants, but its deep slate as well.

That spoiler is an option in Canada, along with the 2 point secure one that is similar to Subaru's , but too big for my taste.

The one I would love to have is called Diablo Inferno, it is a 2 point secured spoiler that is straight across the trunk lid and then dips to the corner of the tailights, complementing the back end of our cars.

Mine was $202.98 painted & shipped to my door (It came out an odd price because of the exchange rate), but it was quite a steal in my mind.

Here's a few more pictures (hopefully they will work)

Do you have a link with who you purchased from? I'd like to order one of those. Is it like the stillen one that's secured without drilling?

Also, it looks like you've got different rims than the stock 2.5, did you order those also? Are they OEM or replicas?

Nice ride, btw. :D

I bought the rims off craigslist for $225 for the set. They are 2004 350z 17" They came with wore out tires that I had to replace, but I like them. They are staggered but I haven't had any problems, plus I'm too lazy to rotate my tires anyway.

The spoiler is both bolted down (one on each side) and 3M taped. It came with a template to drill the holes and it was really easy, and it's pretty secure. I bought it off ebay canada (ebay.ca) I'll have to dig through my gmail for the invoice but when I find the seller i'll PM ya.

Any other questions? =)

Thanks! I like the Stillen spoiler, but it just looks a bit small for my personal taste; I liked the fact that this one bolts on too.

For anyone that wants a more real-life example the last generation Honda Accord Coupes (05-07) had a lip spoiler that looks very very similar to this one, so if your out and about and happen to see one, now you have a better in person reference.

Thanks to the info from boystar, I've gotten in touch with the ebayer that sells the oem-candian-but-not-really-oem spoiler. He's not putting them up on ebay anymore, but I was able to order from him directly. I just ordered mine and once I get it and installed, I'll post some pics of how it looks on a black coupe. It sounds like the guy is interested in more business from all of us too, so if everything goes smoothly I'll pass the info along. It seems like boystar and my price was the same, so $200USD painted and shipped to the US seems good to me.

edit: if anyone wants the info now, just email me. i'm not giving the good word until i find out how long it takes to get here and what it looks like
