I see the big sub cutout in my 2007. Not sure what fits there. 10" for sure maybe 12". Mine is not Bose. The bass in the front speakers is muddy and boomy. Need to make it tighter. I assume there's no sub-out on the head unit. If I can figure out how to wire in a sub, then perhaps I would replace the door speakers and put bass-blockers in to let them only reproduce over 100Hz

What you can do is get a mono amp (sub amp) or a 2-channel amp that has a high-level input (speaker-level input) which means you can tap into the factory speaker wiring to get your sound. You'll have to buy an amp anyway to power the sub.
