Factory Silver 240SX Convertibles?

I emailed him and he is claiming that this is factory paint... .it looks good in silver, but I did not think silver was offered.

Easy test, pull the door sill and carpet up and look. But I'd bet the auction price he's wrong.

BTW, looks hot - seats look like grey leather, which is what mine had.

I saw that car on eBay, and another site I don't remember. It was originally white. There was a pic of the engine. You could see that that Silver paint ended just inside of the lip of where the hood closed onto the engine bay. Probably the most significant reaso why I didn't even bother bidding.

Silver looks nice, but I am amazed that the salesman could tell me that it was factory paint when the engine compartment is white! No wonder they have a bad name.
